1. When back combing your hair (teezing) do it in small sections to give you extra volume throughout the whole back combed area. Also don't be afraid to over do it as once you brush over the top to smooth it all out you will lose a little volume.
2. When brushing out your back combing do its slowly and gently you don't want to rip out all your hair. start from the ends and work your way up. You may also find it helpful to run your fingers threw it first as it will loosen up the back combing and make is easer to brush out.
3. If you are suffering from oily hair on your second day with out washing it, try putting baby powder in your roots and rubbing it in. This will soak up the oils and make your hair more manageable. However if you have dry shampoo at your disposal use that as baby power may leave your hair looking a little grey if you over do it and have dark hair.
4. M if you have dry hair use hair masques, however if you have damaged hair you may want to try deep conditioners. (keep up to date with the blog as I will review and recommend certain products in the future).
5. Layers are a great way to add extra volume to your hair. It also adds dimension and body your your overall hair dose. However if you like doing up dose, try longer layers and face framing pieces at it will add volume but also leave it workable for fancy buns etc.
6. Never add hair and serums to your hair before styling with hot tools, it will have a frying affect and will damage and singe your hair a lot faster.
7. Your hair is at its weakest when it is went therefore avoid brushing it. Also never wash your hair whilst it is back combed as it is more likely to break.
8. Always use a heat protestant on your hair before using hot tools to stye your hair. Treseme's heat tamer spray is one of my favourites as it does the job and is also super affordable.
9. To keep color lasting, spray some leave in conditioner in before showering.
10. Make sure your hair is completely soaking wet state before you apply your shampoo. This will help the shampoo distribute and lather better which results in cleaner hair.
11. For a modern curl, curl your hair away from your face, not towards your face.
12. In oder to make your curls to natural looking and intricate, cult your hair both away from your face and towards your face it will give a better affect.
